How do I check if a crypto project is a scam before investing?

Go to Antiscam Monitor and search the token by name or ticker in the Project Verification tool. If the project is in the database, you get a trust score from 0 to 100 plus a breakdown of Danger flags (like honeypot detection or cannot-sell traps) and Warning flags (like modifiable taxes or unverified contracts). Projects not listed have not passed automated on-chain analysis and carry additional risk.

What is a honeypot token and how can I detect one?

A honeypot is a smart contract that lets you buy a token but blocks you from selling it. Antiscam Monitor's Risk module scans every token's smart contract for honeypot functions and flags them as an instant Danger flag. If the flag is active, the token receives a critical score penalty and you are warned before buying.

How can I track when a crypto token's vesting unlock will happen and how much it will crash the price?

Antiscam Monitor's Feed sends live alerts when investor cliff unlocks are approaching, showing days remaining and projected circulating supply pressure as a percentage. What does "Hidden Owner" mean?

It means the contract contains a hidden function that allows the deployer to reclaim ownership at any time. This gives them unlimited control over the token even if they claimed to have renounced ownership.

What is "Tax Modifiable"?

It means the owner can change the transaction tax at any time without a time restriction. The tax could be raised to 99%, effectively blocking any sell transactions.
